The list of Candidates for the Township of Teaneck Municipal Election has been released. Teaneck Mayor Mohammed Hameeduddin, and Councilman Dr. Henry Pruitt are not seeking re-election.
There are six candidate vying for the three seats on the council available this year. The Teaneck Municipal Elections are at large processes, with no national party affiliations attached to any of the candidates.
This year's election will be by mail-in ballot only. Ballots have been scheduled to be mail to all registered votes starting Friday-24-April. Ballots must be mailed in, and postmark on, or before Tuesday-12-May-2020. Only ballots with a 12-May-2020, or earlier postmark will be counted. The results will be announced in a timely matter after all the counting is complete. Winning candidate will be sworn in at the Township's Re-organization meeting schedule for Wednesday-1- July-2020. The seven members of council will then elect the next Mayor of Teaneck and two Deputy Mayors.

Ms Belcher is currently serving on the Teaneck Planing Board.

Ms Orgen is currently serving on the Teaneck Planing Board.

Councilman Schwartz is seeking re-election to the Teaneck Council.
-Ardie Walser:
Mr. Walser is currently serving on the Teaneck Board Education and is President of the Board.
