On Friday-7-February the Bogota- Ridgefield Park Scarlet/Bucs hosted the Becton Wildcats in Speary Gym at Bogota High School. This was the second Senior Night for the Scarlet/Bucs with the Senior Athletes from both teams being honoured. For Becton: Savion Maranon, Michael Rodriguez, Abriel Hernandez, Tahsheen Williams and Luis Mejia were announced to the audience. For Bogota- Ridgefield Park Andre Ruiz was announced, but Mr. Ruiz had a prior commitment to attend to. Videographer Debra Martinez, Scorekeeper Carly Nunez and Assistant Coach Brian Montalvo and were presented roses, and recognized by the audience for their participation in the Wrestling program.
Bogota- Ridgefield Park won the match by a score of 51-28. Of the 14 bouts scheduled 9 were competed. Bogota- Ridgefield Park would win four of those. Adam Albino at 106 lbs, Anthony Landi at 113 lbs, Jaden Rodriguez at 120 lbs, Andre Ruiz at 138lbs, Andrew Vargas at 152 lbs, and Kashawn Wallace at 138 lbs would recorded Pinfalls. Mathew Carvajal , would win by a Decision 2-1.
Bogota- Ridgefield Park finishes their season with record of a 13-5.
