Results from the games played by Bogota Varsity teams.
On Friday-24-January the Bogota Lady Bucs Basketball team traveled to Wallington to play the Lady Panthers. The two team matched either other scores for the first half of the game. The score was tied 5-5 after the first quater, and again at 13-all going into the locker room. After the restart the Lady Bucs made the additional points needed to take a 19-16 lead at the three quater time mark. Bogota would hold onto this lead and come home with a 25-22 win. Ruby Recio had a game high with 10 Points. Ms. Recio and Maryann Gesmundo each had one Three Point Basket for Bogota. Wallington was led by Zoe Safdar and Pegi Bracaj with 7 Points a piece.
Bogota's record is now 3-10. The next play on Tuesday-28-January against Park Ridge. This will be played on the Jay Mahoney Court at Speary Gym. The Tip-off is Scheduled for 4:00p

On Friday-24-January the Bogota- Ridgefield Park Scarlet/Bucs would host a Tri-meet at Speary Gym. This included the Hoboken Red Wings and the Bergenfield Bears. Bogota- Ridgefield Park would earn victories over both Hoboken and Bergenfield.
The following day the Scarlet/Bucs would travel to Garfield to take part in a Quad -Meet. They would face the host Boilermakers, the Hopatcong Chiefs, and the Cresskill Cougars. Bogota would lose to both Garfield and Cresskill. The Scarlet/Bucs had a win over Hopatcong. By the end of the weekend Bogota finished with a 9-5 record f the season. The will next compete on Wednesday-29-January in a NJIC intra-division match. Opponent and location to be determined.
