Results of the games played by Varsity teams from Bogota on Thursday-16-January. The Bogota Bowling Bucs took on the Leonia Lions. Leonia would win the match 7-0. Bogota’s Spencer Mazzella had the high game with a 179 and series with a 485 for Bogota. The Lions' Andy Hong had match highs in games with a 277, and series with a 650. Bogota’s record is now 4-9. They next bowl on Tuesday-21 -January against Palisades Park The first game is scheduled for 4:00p at the Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park.

The Men's Basketball Bucs would travel to Hawthorne Christian Academy to play the Defenders. Bogota would out score the Defenders by identical 16-11 scores in the first and second quarters. This saw the Bucs have a 32-22 lead into the Locker room.And repeated the process to take at 28-14 lead into half time. After the restart the Defenders came out stronger and by three-quater time the Bucs led by only five points.Bogota regained control of the game and finished with a 60-49 win. The Bucs record is now 9-2. Ashanti Caviness led all scores with 20 Points. Taj Collins and Evan Meberg each had 2 Three Point Baskets for Bogota. Hawthorne Christian Academy's JJ Johnson had a high of 13 Points with Justin Awad a game high of 4 Three Point Baskets.
Bogota will next play on Tuesday-21-January against Cresskill. This will be played on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym with the tip off scheduled for 7:00p.

The Bogota Lady Bucs Basketball hosted the Lady Defenders on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym. The game would start with both club having trouble scoring. just half way into the first quater the game was tied at 4. The Lady Bucs would get a Three Point Basket from Seniah Burrell to give them a lead they would hold onto for the rest of the game. After this core Bogota was able to find the bottom of the net with more ease, including a court long rush by Rudy Recio who score just as the quarter ended to give Bogota an 11-4 lead. In a holdover from their last game, the Lady Bucs played a more physical game. They would push for better position when they had to, and struggle for a loose ball when needed. All of this combined gave Bogota a 23-5 halftime lead. Bogota's played continued after the restart which saw the Lady Bucs score 19 three quater points and a 42-13 advantage going into the final 8 minutes. Bogota would post a 48-21 win and give them a 2-8 record for the season. Rudy Recio led all scorers with 19 Points including 3 Three Point Baskets. Hawthorne Christian Academy's Gabriela Mallack finished with 8 Points.
