Monday-1- October will be the start of Leaf Season. Home Owners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting in the street , along the curb, in front of their residents. It is ask that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding , or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -16- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

Students with Library Card from the Bogota Library between the ages of 5-18 are eligible for this program. The program will run until 31-August-2020, and will be review at that time. The Bogota Music Dept. will present their Winter Concert starting at 6:30p. This will performances by the Concert band and the Jazz band. Also performing will be the Student Choir, and the Women's A Cappella group. There will be no admission charge, it is ask that anyone attending please bring a new and unwrapped present to donate to the YAC's Toys for Tots drive..This will be held in the High School Auditorium located on the first Floor at 2 Henry Luthin Pl. The next meeting of the Bogota Test Kitchen will be held in the second floor of the Bogota Library. At this meeting members are to bring a recipe from this month book, and serve it to the other members as a potluck dinner. While over dinner members can discuss the book, why the chose their dish, and what was it like in the cooking process. This is a free event and open to anyone over the age of 18 years old. Anyone wishing to participate must register before hand, with the cookbook of the month available at the Library. The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office.
