The Bogota Public Library will have their Youth's Sewing Club meeting. This is open to Students ages 9-18. This will teach anyone the art of sewing. There will be a chance to learn machine, and hand sewing as well as shown different project and types of material. This will be from 1:00p to 4:00p in the back reading room.This is a free event, but anyone attending is asked to register with the library in advance. The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. The Bogota Borough Council will hold their Sine Die. This will be held in the Senior Centre located on the second floor of 375 Larch Ave. Bogota NJ starting at 2:00p . Then the swearing in of the newly elected Council Members Daniele Fede and Michael Connors will take place. Mayor Chris Kelemen will be sworn in after winning re-election for the office of Mayor. The Public is invited to both meeting.

The Bogota Public Library will host a workshop for young athletes in Bogota This will be the first of four Saturday's to encourage Students to learn more about how learning any sport can be beneficial in everyday life. It will be in two separate age groups. One group for anyone ages from 2-7 will run from 11:00a. to noon. All Students who participate must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian throughout the event.
