For the 2019 Bergen County Winter Wonderland Bogota Mayor Chris Kelemen asked Bogota Beautiful if they would like the opportunity to decorate the tree that will represent Bogota. Bogota Beautiful would take up this honour, and decorate with a Bogota themed display. Using donated ornaments and volunteer tree trimmers, they would created a very Bogota tree with garland, bulbs and poinsettias coloured Bogota Purple and Bucs Gold. Bulbs of all shapes and sizes cover the majority of the space with many having a reflexive surface to capture, and reflex, the lights when lit. Bogota Purple poinsettias with a dusting of Bucs Gold gave additional dimension to the shape of the tree. Different shades of Bucs Gold garland travel up from the base to encircle the tree until it reaches its apex. The treetop is highlighted by a single Moravian Star above a Gold and Silver wreath capping the Bogota Christmas present to the rest of Bergen County.
The Bogota tree is located at the south entrance to the Bergen County Winter Wonderland. With the trees being place in Alphabetical order by towns Bogota is third in line. This and all the other, municipalities trees, will be unveiled on Friday-6-December at the opening of the Winter Wonderland scheduled at 4:00p.
