On Wednesday 18-December Bogota Beautiful held its final public meeting for this year. Chairperson Amaru Bustamante did a review of the projects they have done in 2019. Some of the projects he mention was the Potluck International Lunch at Bogota Library. Being apart of the Library's first Mighty Read event. Organizing and assisting in the Fence weaving in Olsen park as part of their Green Day event. Paritcapanting in Bogota Day and the Fall Festival. being a part of the Bogota 125th Anniversary celebration. And most recent ask to decorate the Bogota tree as part of the Bergen County's Winter Wonderland. Then Mr. Bustamante talk about the future of the organization. This will be based on the formation of a Bogota Creative Arts Committee. The Arts Committee will have a mission to offer advice to the Elected Officials with planning to bring more artistic creativity to the Borough. There will be a member of Bogota Beautiful as part of this committee, with Mr. Bustamante, and Library Director Chelsea Coleman being Co-Chairpersons for its first year.
On final project for this year was to deliver toys to the Bogota Police Department. These donations, from Bogota Beautiful, were made possible by the contribution they collected throughout the year. After this meeting Amaru Bustamante, Joseph Baldacci, Meghen and Michael Leong, with their Sons delivered the present to The Bogota Police Dept where they were accepted by Police Officers Sgt Geoffrey Cole and Officer Lewis Dueñas.

The next Bogota Beautiful will be on Wednesday 15-January-2020. This will be held at the Kennedy Emergency Services Building located at 69 W. Main St Bogota, NJ starting at 7:30p. This meeting is open to the Public.
