The Bogota Borough Council Meeting originally scheduled for Thursday-14- November has been moved to Wednesday-13- November. This will still be held in the Bogota Council Chambers starting at 7:30p . The chambers are located at 375 Larch Ave on the second floor of Borough Hall.

Monday-1- October will be the start of Leaf Season. Home Owners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting in the street , along the curb, in front of their residents. It is ask that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding , or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -16- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

Students with Library Card from the Bogota Library between the ages of 5-18 are eligible for this program. The program will run until 31-August-2020, and will be review at that time. The Bogota Public Library will host a workshop for young athletes in Bogota This will be the first of four Saturday's to encourage Students to learn more about how learning any sport can be beneficial in everyday life. It will be in two separate age groups. One group for anyone ages from 2-7 will run from 11:00a. to noon. All Students who participate must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian through out the event. This is a free event, but anyone attending is asked to register with the library in advance.

The Bogota VFW Ralph Hall Post # 5561 will host its Annual Veterans Day ceremony. This is a chance for the citizens of Bogota to show their thanks and appreciation for what the members of the Armed Services both past & present mean to the Country. Doors open at 6:30 pm, ceremony starts at 8pm. It includes announcement of Bogota's citizen of the year and its young volunteer award. Please come by for the ceremony and refreshments.
