On Tuesday-1-October the Borough of Bogota held an official open ceremony for JoJo's Playground in Olsen Park. This dedicated to the late Joseph Birney , who passed away on 16- October at the age of 9. This playground added to the existing area, is constructed for Children aged 2-5 years old. It was built with funds proved by an Open Spaces grant from Bergen County. The commemorative sign signifying JoJo's Playground was provided with donation of the Bogota Police Officers union. After a few words remembering Joseph from Bogota Mayor Chris Kelemen. The sign was unveiled, with the help of Councilman Thomas Napolitano and Administrator Joseph Scarpa. This was followed by a ribbon cutting by Joseph's Mother Carmel and twin brother Dominic to open the playground. After some photos taking of the new sign a few of Joseph's friend and Family members tried out the new equipment.
