Results of the games played by Bogota varsity Sports team on Monday-7- October.
The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team traveled to play the Immaculate Heart Academy Blue Eagles. Both teams would enter the match undefeated in the State of New Jersey. Immaculate Heart Academy only losses this season were out of State. By the end of the evening the Blue Eagles were still the top team in New Jersey by defeating Bogota 2-0 (25-16 : 25-12). While the Lady Bucs had some of the top scorers for the match, Immaculate Heart Academy's team produced an overall team effort. Bogota's Nylene Mateo led all scores with 12 Kills, while Amber Vazquez had the best assist total with 16. The Blue Eagle's Anna Morris and Emily Soranno both recorded match high with 11 Service points each. Ms. Morris also had 4 Aces, a match high with 3 Blocks and had a team high with 10 Kills. Immaculate Heart Academy's Elizabeth Patterson had the most Digs with 10, with Bogota's Julianne Corniel finished with 8 Digs.
Bogota's record is now 13-1. They next play on Wednesday-9- October when they travel to Palisades Park. This has a scheduled first serve at 4:00p
Thye Bogota Soccer Bucs played at Palisades Park against the Tigers. Bogota would lose that game by score of 2-7. Their record is now 0-11. They play on Thursday-10-October when they host Palisades Park at Zakrzewski Field in Olsen Park 7:00p
