On Saturday-5-October The Bogota Football Bucs hosted the Weehawken Indians at Feigel Field. This was the annual evening game, and the Homecoming game for the Bogota 125th Anniversary celebration. Before the game many Alumni football players were introduced to the audience , then they formed a human tunnel to send this years team onto the field. The game was scoreless after the first 12 minutes. . In the second quater Bogota would open the scoring with a long run by Dayval Chimilio. His long trip down the right side of the field would give Bogota their first lead of the season. The Bucs would take a 6-0 advantage into half time. After the restart Weehawken Iganacio Malave catch a short screen pass, from Sean Guerriero, and finish the play by tieing the score at 6.
Middle way through the fourth quater Bogota's Ashanti Caviness would get the first of his two Interception of the night. This occurred deep in Weehawken territory and set-up the Bucs next score. Matthew Levesque would then get the next major score with a dive into the endend and give Bogota a 12-6 lead. Finally Ashanti Caviness would catch a short pass from Dayval Chimilio giving Bogota a 18-6 win in their Homecoming event.
Bogota's record is now 1-3. They next play on Saturday-12-October when they host Wallington at Feigel Field. This is scheduled to have a 1:00p kick-off.
