On Thursday-19-September a new business opened in Ridgefield Park, NJ. Pottery on the Palisades is a ceramic studio started by four local Potters. Debbie Feuer, Ronnie Pallay, Jennifer Shaia, and Tal Yekutiel all met while enrolled in ceramic courses taught by Marilyn Dale in Demerest. Over time the four discovered that not only share the same interest in pottery, but the had similar ideas on how there works should be presented to the public. During the search for a studio space of their own, they found out that the needs of setting a fully function studio was more than most landlords would agree to. When they looked at a space in Ridgefield Park, they found someone who was willing to work with them on their idea. When the restriction and regulations needed to operate a kiln were able to be met they took the opportunity to locate in the Village. Their new location proves ample space for each person to have their own work area. A safe and convenient location for the kiln, along with a front room to display and sell their creations. With a few weeks of items already for purchase and moving into a community that is growing its arts culture the owners of Pottery on the Palisades are excited in becoming the newest member of the local community.
Pottery on the Palisades is located at 425 Main St. in Ridgefield Park, NJ. Currently they are open by appointment with future plans in the works. For more information or questions please contact them at: potteryonthepalisades@gmail.com
