Board of Education

  On Tuesday-10-September the Bogota Board of Education held their first meeting for the month of September. 
  In his Superintendent's report Mr Kennedy main subjects were the opening of the new school year with the addition of the Class 3 officers in each of the public school. These officers, Mr. Kennedy and Bogota Police Chief Daniel Maye will meet after a few weeks of the Officers being on duty to discussion and changes , or improvement that could me made with the Class 3 Office duty day. Mr Kennedy also talked about the Homecoming event as part of the Bogota 125th Anniversary. The Homecoming events will start on Friday 4-Oct and go until Sunday-6-Oct. 
   All the agenda  items were pass on to be formally voted on with the rest of the consent agenda at the next Board of Education meeting scheduled for Tuesday-17-September.    
  Under new business to, proposals were brought up by the trustees. One was to hold an open presentation about vaping for both Parents and Students to attend. Another was  the expansion of the videoing of Board meeting to include live streaming of these meeting. 
   The videos of these, and future, Board of Education meeting will be available at : Bogota BoE meeting video.  The meeting will be released once they are processed.  
   The Next Board of Education meeting will be on Tuesday-17-September. The meeting will be held in the High School Cafeteria  located on the second floor of 2 Henry Luthin Pl.  Bogota, NJ. The meeting is scheduled to start at 7:00p. The Public is invited to attend.
