The next meeting of the Bogota Test Kitchen will be held in the second floor of the Bogota Library. At this meeting members are to bring a recipe from this month book, and serve it to the other members as a potluck dinner. While over dinner members can discuss the book, why the chose their dish, and what was it like in the cooking process. This is a free event and open to anyone over the age of 18 years old. Anyone wishing to participate must register before hand, with the cookbook of the month available at the Library. Starting on Monday-1-July and for every Monday in the month of July the 101 Pub in Bogota will donate 10% of the Lunch or Dinner bill to the Bogota Football Bucs. Bills must be paid in cash in order to qualify for the donation. The process will go to allow the Bogota Football players to attend the All County camp in Paramus. Print out a copy of this flyer. It can be shown digitally or just mention it.

The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. The Bogota Public Library will host a lecture on the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11. This will be presented by Space Program Historian Joe Lennox who will describe and explain all the details of Apollo 11 in a multimedia presentation that includes the sights and sounds of the first moon landing, highly detailed scale models, actual spacecraft hardware, authentic flight documentation and a medallion that contains metal that actually went to the moon on this historic mission.
This program will last between 60 and 90 minutes and is designed for 4th grade and up plus any and all adults. 7:00p. The next performance of the McGowan Park Concert Series will feature the Rutherford Community Band. The concert is scheduled to start at 7:00p in McGowan Park located on the Bergen Turnpike in Ridgefield Park, NJ It is advised that anyone attending bring their own lawn chairs, or blankets. In case of rain or other weather conditions the concert will be held at the Knights of Columbus hall located at 106 Bergen Ave The concerts will take place every Wednesday until 28-August. This the Teaneck Farmers Market will be open for this season. Shoppers will be able purchase locally grown and produced food items. This annual event will be every Thursday from June to the end of October. The stand open at 12:00 noon and continue until 6:00p The Teaneck Farmers Market is located in the municipal parking lot along Beverly Rd Teaneck, NJ. There is additional parking available near by.

The Bogota Public Library will host a Shamanic Journey workshop. This will be presented by Reverend Kathryn Gates-Ferris. Shamanism is the world’s oldest spiritual practice, dating back tens of thousands of years. She will share the technique of shamanic journeying to travel towards a non-ordinary reality using the beat of a drum.
The introductory course will cover the following:
1) Introduction to core shamanism
2) Journeying to find your power animal
3) Shamanic singing and dancing

The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will be holding a All you can eat Breakfast. This will start at 8:30a and go until 12:00 noon Prices are $10 for Adults and $5 for student 12 and under. The Breakfast will feature an Omelette station, Pancakes, Bacon,Sausage, French toast, & scrambled eggs. There will also be pastries, cereal along with Coffee, Tea, Milk & Juice. It is asked to bring some Non-perishable food items for the Local Food Pantry.
