The ARC of Bergen, & Passaic Counties will hold their 22th annual walk for Children and Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Olsen Park. This year the event will mark the 70th Anniversary of ARC Walk fundraising events. Registration will begin at 9:30a, with the walk itself will start at 10:30a. Olsen Park is located at 162 W. The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. The Bogota Public Library will present the movie Join us at the library for a screening of "Movie Queen", as part of the Bogota 125th Anniversary celebration. This is set in Bogota of 1940 when a Hollywood Actress returns to her hometown. Produced by Boston filmmaker Margaret Cram Showalter, this film was one of a series she made from 1935 to 1940 to promote local community. Councilman David MacFarlane will provide piano accompaniment to this silent film. Borough Historian Henry Komorowski will also give a short talk on 1940s wartime civilian life with a special focus on Bogota. Snacks will be sold for $1.00 each as a fundraiser for the library This is a free event, but anyone attending is asked to register with the library in advance. This event was to honour the Students of Bogota High School for the school year of 2018-19 Also during this evening a number of scholarships will be awarded to a members of Graduating Seniors from the Class of 2019. This the Teaneck Farmers Market will be open for this season. Shoppers will be able purchase locally grown and produced food items. This annual event will be every Thursday from June to the end of October. The stand open at 12:00 noon and continue until 6:00p The Teaneck Farmers Market is located in the municipal parking lot along Beverly Rd Teaneck, NJ. There is additional parking available near by.

The Bogota Community Garden is having their First garden event of the 2019 growing season. This will allow the public to see the garden and how the spring planting season is progressing. There will also be a presentation by Gauman Garden on how to grow a garden for pollinators. This is scheduled to start at 10:00a and is a free event. The Ridgefield Park Arts Association will present their Summer Arts Fest. This will be a Festival of Music Dance and Art from local performers from Ridgefield Park and Bogota. This entertainment will run from 6:00p to 9:00p and be located at Grove St starting at Main. There will be Stages for performances, along with community tables to enjoy food from nearby restaurants.

Bogota Beautiful will sponsor Yoga in the Park. This will take place every Sunday in June from 9:00a to 10:00p. It will again be held at the bandshell in Olsen Park. All four session will be lead by Conor Murphy. This is free to the public, however it is asked to contact Bogota Beautiful at there website: bogotabeautiful.com to make a reservation for as many dates as you wish. The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will be holding a All you can eat Breakfast. This will start at 8:30a and go until 12:00 noon Prices are $10 for Adults and $5 for student 12 and under. The Breakfast will feature an Omelette station, Pancakes, Bacon,Sausage, French toast, & scrambled eggs. There will also be pastries, cereal along with Coffee, Tea, Milk & Juice. It is asked to bring some Non-perishable food items for the Local Food Pantry.
