On Friday-10-May the Bogota Lady Bucs Softball team hosted the Lady Panther from Midland Park. The Lady Panthers scored early and often getting 11 runs in the first two innings. They used their speed to take full advantage Bogota fielding errors. Midland Park would score in each of the five inning game except the third. This would include a 9 Run fifth inning when the outcome of the 21-0 win would already be decided.
Midland Park's Emma Mercadante would throw a 1 hit shutout and strike out 9 batters. Allison Vreeland would hit 2 Home Runs, and have a game high 5 Runs Batted In. Bianca Caprio would have one Stolen Base. Allyssia Vasquez would be the only Bogota base runner and have 1 Stolen Base.
Bogota's record is now 7-9. They next play on Monday-13-May against Memorial High School from Jersey City, NJ This will be played at home on Lady Buc Field in Olsen Park. This will also be the Senior Game and is scheduled to have the first pitch at 6:00p
