The Bogota Public Library will host a lecture about the experience of flying in an bomber during World War II. This will be presented by Joe DeLuccia who severed as an Radio Operator and Gunner on a B-17 " Flying Fortress' bomber from June to October 1944. This is schedule to start 11:00a. The Bogota Recreation Commission and the Borough of Bogota will present Bogota Day 2019. This will be held in Olsen Park, Bogota , NJ starting at 4:30p. This is a celebration of Bogota 125th Anniversary. Some of the activities planned are Rides and a Petting Zoo, Live Music, and a Historic Bus Tour of Bogota. Snacks including Hot dogs, Popcorn, Cotton Candy , and Ice Cream will be compliments of the Recreation Commission. To end the evening their will be a first of its kind Bogota Fireworks display. The Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:00p weather permitting.It is asked that anyone attend come dress in Purple and Gold to show pride for Bogota, NJ

The North Jersey Friendship House will be hosting their Annual Wellness Walk for Mental Health & Autism. This will take place in Olsen Park Bogota, NJ. This is chance to raise money and awareness of mental health issues while enjoying an early afternoon outdoors. There will be a walk-a-thon around Olsen Park with donations going to help Friendship House with their work. Music, A cook-out, Raffles and a Zumba class are planed for the event. There is a $5.00 donation requested

The ARC of Bergen, & Passaic Counties will hold their 22th annual walk for Children and Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Olsen Park. This year the event will mark the 70th Anniversary of ARC Walk fundraising events. Registration will begin at 9:30a, with the walk itself will start at 10:30a. Olsen Park is located at 162 W. The Ridgefield Park Arts Association will present their Summer Arts Fest. This will be a Festival of Music Dance and Art from local performers from Ridgefield Park and Bogota. This entertainment will run from 6:00p to 9:00p and be located at Grove St starting at Main. There will be Stages for performances, along with community tables to enjoy food from nearby restaurants.

The Bogota Public Library will host there first Might Read event. This will be an hour of back-to-back storytimes to share with the Students. Books will be read by Bogota neighbors, and leaders to help promote Student reading. This event celebrates mighty characters and the positive impact that stories have on childhood literacy. The first 50 registered kids will receive a take home book. This is schedule to start 11:00a. This is a free event and open to anyone. Teaneck, NJ
The Township of Teaneck is hosting its annual Teaneck Street fair. This will take place at W. Englewood & Palisades Aves. Teaneck, NJ. The event will start at 11:00a and run until 5:00p. Admission is free and open to the public. Games, crafts and various food trucks are scheduled to be part of the event. Processes fro this event will go to benefit the Teaneck Junior Baseball program.
