On Monday-6-May the Bogota Baseball Bucs traveled to Hawthorne Christian Academy to play the Defenders. This was originally scheduled to be a home game for Bogota but was moved due to field conditions. The Bucs would start the game with a 2 Run first inning, and added another 5 in the second. When Bogota would score 3 runs in the fourth inning, and hold the Defenders scoreless in the fifth the game ended. Bogota's Jose Marte strikeout 13 batters and throw a one hit shutout for the win. Michael Fitzgerald would have a game high with 4 Runs Batted In, an hit a Triple. Ryan Ramirez and Jose marte would have 2 Stolen Bases a piece
Bogota's record is now 7-9. The next play on Wednesday-8-May at Emerson. The first pitch scheduled for 4:00p .
