On Thursday-2-May the Bogota Baseball Bucs completed a game against Dwight -Englewood from Saturday-27-April. This game was halted due to darkness, and continued at Park Ridge today. When the game was stopped Dwight -Englewood had a 3-2 lead. After play resumed Bogota would score 3 Runs in the fifth inning. The Bucs would one more run in the final inning to win the game by a score of 6-3.
Jose Marte would pitch the entire game and recording 15 Strikeouts for the win. The Bulldogs would use Beau Rottmann, and Dan Russell who would have 14 Strikeouts in the combined effort. Ricky Vega would account for all the Dwight-Englewood scoring with 2 Home Runs and a game high of 3 Runs Batted In. Michael Fitzgerald would have 2 Runs Batted In and a Double for the Bucs. Jake Marino lead all runners with 2 Stolen Bases. Bogota's record is now 6-8. They next play on Friday-3-May against Eastern Christian. This will be played at North Haledon Park with a first pitch scheduled for 6:00p
