Over the past weekend the Bogota Track and Field squads competed at the Beregn Country Relays at River Dell High School. Bogota is part of the "D" Division. The Lady Bucs finished seventh overall in the nine school division. Highlight was the Lady Bucs team of Gabrielle Grant, Ashley Gomez, Natalie Hardwick, and Angelie Jaipersaud won the Women's 4 x 1600 Relay. Alondra Batista placed 6th in the Shot put, and 4th in the Discus.
The Men's team finished seventh out of the ten other schools in their division. The team of Chris Perry, Jesus Michel, Leandro Rojas and Syed-Hamza Hussaini won the Men's 4 x 1600 Relay. They also finished second in the Distance Medley. Andrew Cazar finished ninth in the 400 meter Hurdles.
Both squad next compete on Monday-15-April in a tri-meet at Waldwick. They will face Waldwick and Saddle River Day School which is scheduled to start at 4:00p.
