Results of games played by Bogota ball clubs from Tuesday-9-April.
The Bogota Lady Bucs Softball team traveled to Jersey City to play Hudson Catholic Lady Hawks, this was originally scheduled to be play on Olsen Park, but was moved to Hudson Catholic. The Lady Bucs took a 2-0 lead in the first inning of play. Hudson Catholic would tie the game at 2 in the bottom of the third inning. Bogota posted a four run fifth inning. In the bottom of that same inning the Lady Hawks would take over the lead scoring six runs of their own. Bogota would score again in the sixth but could get any closer. Hudson Catholic would win the game by a score of 8-7. Jenha Jalagel would have a game high of 6 Strikeouts for the home team. Amber Vasquez only strike out 2 for the game. Natalia Linares would have a Double, and Leilya Ksiyer record 2 Runs Batted In for the Lady Bucs. Hadar Elhouss, Angelina Sikora, and Aliyahi River would hit Doubles for Hudson Catholic. Danielle Vega had 2 Stolen Bases for the Lady Hawks. Ruby Recio had 5 Stolen Bases for Bogota, with Alyssia Vasquez taking 3 more.
Bogota's record is now 3-1. They also remain ranked #9 in the NJIC by The Star Ledger. They next play on Friday-12-April when they travel to Emerson. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:00p

The Men's Baseball Bucs played their Home Opener against Waldwick at the Fiegel Field Baseball Diamond. This was original scheduled for Friday-5-April but was postponed due to the weather. The Warriors scored in the top of the first inning to take an early lead. Bogota would score twice in their half of the inning , and would not trail for the rest of the game. The Bucs would add another run in the third inning. The score would still be 3-1 when Waldwick scored in the top of the fifth. Bogota would match that in their part of the inning. With the first batter for Waldwick at the plate in the sixth inning the roar of thunder was heard, followed by heavy rain and the game was stopped with Bogota recording a 4-2 win.
Jose Marte recorded 10 Strike Outs, and have 2 Stolen Bases in the win. Matthew Fitzgerald would hit a Double and have a game high with 2 Runs Batted In. Bogota's recorded is now 3-1. They next play on Wednesday-10-April at Hawthorne Christian Academy with the first pitch scheduled for 4:00p. Then on Friday-12-April when they host Emerson at the Fiegel Field Baseball Diamond. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:00p.
