WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TUESDAY TO 6 AM
EST WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of
2 to 5 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze to up to one
tenth of an inch expected.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, southern Connecticut
and southeast New York.
* WHEN...From 6 AM Tuesday to 6 AM EST Wednesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening
commutes.
Monday
A 50 percent chance of snow after 1:00a. Cloudy, with a low around 26. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Northeast wind 5 to 8 mph.
Tuesday
Snow and sleet before 3:00p, then freezing rain and sleet between 3:00p and 4:00p, then rain and sleet after 4:00p. High near 35. Wind chill values between 15 and 25. East wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow and sleet accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

A 20 percent chance of rain before 9:00a. Partly sunny, with a high near 44. West wind 9 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph.
