The Men's Basketball Bucs hosted the Waldwick Warriors on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym. Waldwick would use their three point scoring to open the game and keep the contest close. The Warriors even took a one point lead with a three point shot late in the first quater. Bogota would answer that with a three point score of their own before time expired and have a 22-18 lead going into the second time frame. Waldwick' defense would limit Bogota's scoring. While the Bucs defense would close off the inside allowing only low percentage shots. Bogota would take a 44-34 lead into the locker room.
After the restart the Waldwick Defense would again denied the Bucs easy access to the net, as the Warriors would close the gap. As time ran out in the third quater Waldwick's Logan Wejnert would sink a long shot from well out side the arc to bring the Warriors to with in one point of the home team. Early in the final quater Bogota's Argenis Soriano would answer again with his own Three Point Basket which would give the Bucs the breathing room to keep the lead for the rest of the game. Bogota would win by a final score of 78-71.
Waldwick's Louis Fabbo would have a game high with 27 Points. Both Waldwick's Logan Wejnert, and Bogota's Argenis Soriano would have 4 Three Point Baskets each. Mr. Soriano would lead the Bucs in scoring with 20 Points.
Bogota's record is now 14-5. They play on Thursday-7-February at Emerson with thetip-off time is scheduled for 7:00p
