On Monday-7- January the Bogota Bowling Bucs had a match against the Hawthorne Christian Academy Defenders. This took place at the Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park, NJ. Hawthorne Christian would win the first game by 3 pins. Bogota would win the next two games and record 5-2 victory. Phillip Duncan would have match highs of a 202 game, and a 520 total for the Defenders. Spencer Mazzella would score a high of 154 in the third game and a team high of 434 for Bogota.
Their next match is on Tuesday-8-January against Midland Park. This will take place at the Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park, NJ. First game is scheduled for 4:00p
The Men's Basketball Bucs hosted the undefeated Rebels from Saddle River Day School. After the two team traded Three point baskets to start the game, Bogota would take a brief two Point lead. The rebels then used their speed and accuracy to take over the game. Saddle River would build a 20-13 lead in the First Quarter and control play fro the rest of the game. The Rebels would out rebound Bogota, and found the bottom of the net on a regular basis. Saddle River Day would keep their 2019 season perfect with a 72-51 win. Bogota's record is now 5-2. Connor Cyran would lead the Rebles with 22 points. Saddle River Day School's Sebastian Gianotti would lead all scores with 4 Three point baskets. Kenjiee Polanco would lead Bogota with a game high of 26 Points and have 3 Three Pointers for the Bucs.
They next play at Waldwick with the tip-off at 7:00p, Junior Varsity game precedes at 5:30p, Freshman game precedes at 4:00p.
