On Wednesday-2-January the Bogota/ Ridgefield Park Scarlet-Bucs won their match against Wood-Ridge 66-18. This was held at Ridgefield Park High School. All of the Scarlet-Bucs contested victories were decided by Pin Falls:
Adam Albino at 113 lbs, Andre Ruiz at 120 lbs, Darius Baez at 126 lbs, John Perez at 132 lbs, Matthew Levesque at 152 lbs, Stephen Papastefanou at 182 lbs, Eris Rosario at 200 lbs, and Patrick O'Reilly at 285 lbs.
Their record is now 1-3. Their next meet is on Friday-4-January at Emerson. The first bout is schedule to start at 7:00p. They will also compete in the Sam Cali Tournament at West Orange High School starting at 9:00a

On Thursday-3-January the Bogota Lady Bucs Basketball tam traveled to St. Mary's in Rutherford, NJ, to play the Lady Gaels. Bogota lost by a score of 47-13. Ruby Recio was the high scorer for Bogota with 5 points. Maryann Gesmundo had the only Three Point Basket for Bogota. Their record is now 0-6. They next play on Saturday-5-January against Paterson East Side Lady Ghost. This will be play on the Jay Mahoney Court at Speary Gym with the tip-off scheduled for 12:00p
