Re-accreditation

   On Tuesday-27-November St. Joseph's School in  Bogota held a dinner to welcome the review committee from Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools. The MSA-CESS is a national organization that promote guidelines to schools so they can achieve excellence in both teaching and learning.
   St Joseph's School  was initially awarded Accreditation from the Middle States Commissions Elementary and Secondary Schools in May 2001. They  then earned Re-Accreditation in November of 2011. They are now being review for a second Re-Accreditation for 2018.  This Accreditation will be valid for the next seven years. 
    At this presentation there was a number of performance, but the Students, to highlight the Artistic achievement available at St. Joseph's. Then, to explain more about what it is like to  attend St. Joseph's School, speeches were give by Teachers, Parents, and Students emphasizing the benefits offer at St. Joseph's.  Along with  how the educational experience at St. Joseph's has help the growth of the Students who are attending the school, and how Alumni of the school have excelled after graduating from St. Joseph's.
  The review committee from the MSA-CESS  will also spend the rest of the week observing the teaching in all the classes available. This will include the Pre-School grade up to and including 8th Grade. The review committee will also talk to the Students, their Parents, about what is the experience like to be educated at St. Joseph's. There will also be interviews with Faculty  and Staff  on what improvements and changes have been made in the last ten years to allow St. Joseph's to give the Student the best academic experience as possible.
Re-Accreditation will be finalized in the spring.
