Bogota Football Bucs

 On Saturday-13-October  The Bogota Football Bucs host the St. Mary's Gaels at Feigel Field. This was the annual night game for Bogota. The Bucs would come away with a 34-21 victory. Bogota would start the scoring by taking the opening drive in for an Andrew Miller touchdown  and a 6-0 lead. St.Mary's would then score themselves and with the converted extra point have a 7-6.  Bogota would regain the lead on a short run from George Coronel. Mr Coronel would also score the extra two points to give Bogota a 14-7 after the first 12 minutes.
  In the second quater the Gaels would score on a fumble recovery and the teams would go into the locker room tied at 14. After the restart there was not scoring in the third quater. After a late hit at the St.Mary's sideline resulted in one Bogota player being ejected from the game.
 To start the final quater  St. Mary's would again take a lead 21-14. 19 seconds later Jason Nunez took a pass from Andrew Miller and ran 80 yards for the Touchdown. When the  two point conversion was successful Bogota would take the lead for good 22-12. Frank-Petaccia would score from another Andre Miller pass. and Mr. Miller would run for his second major score of the game to give Bogota a 34-21 win. Bogota's record is now 1-6. They next play on Friday-19-October at North Arlington with the kick-off scheduled for 7:00p
