On Friday-31-August the members of the Bogota Marching Buccaneer Band held their final day of Band Camp for the upcoming school. They spend one session in the music room, and gather at the Band shell in Olsen Park. For the last two week they would learn, and practice the formation for their Halftime shows. On this day they were treated to a cook-out provided the Bogota Band Parents. The members sat around relaxing and having Lunch. Some in small groups other in groups that would increase in size as more members arrived in the park.
After eating some members tossed a Frisbee around, and were later joined by Band Director Barry McCann. Other wandered over to the playground to have a ride on the swings, or turns on the monkey bars. When the Student from the Recreation Centre day camp would have their turn, the older Student would step aside and let the young children play. There was also an impromptu game of Hide & Seek which featured some unique hiding places. Before the rain drove everyone home (and after cleaning up after themselves) The Marching Buccaneer posed for a photo.
