With the weather being more staple at the end of this week the Bogota Cross Country Bucs had the opportunity to train outside as a team. Through-out the year the members of both the Women's and Men's squads can be seen running the streets of Bogota to keep in shape. With the official Varsity Practice session have begun they can train under the observation of first year head Coach Pat Rockford. The squad used the walkway around eastern Olsen Park as their course to build up their strength for the upcoming season. Squad ran in groups of the Women's team, and then the Men's running together. Scoring in Cross Country is done with the top five finishers from each school scoring points. Lowest combined scores wins. The Lady Bucs Squad will enter this season as defending Patriot League Champions.
The first meet will be the Season Opener Invitational on Saturday-8-September. This will take place at the Darlington Park Race Course. Their League opening meet will be on Wednesday-12-September at the Darlington Park Race Course. This will be a tri-meet against Ridgefield and Midland Park.
