Results from the Primary Election in New Jersey held on Tuesday-5-June. Most of the candidates in races involving Bogota ran unopposed. The out come of the contested election results are as follows.
The General Election will be held on Tuesday-6-November. Polls in New Jersey will be opened from 6:00a to 8:00p
For United State Senate for six year term
For the Democratic party:
Incumbent Senator Robert Menendez received 258,042 votes
Lisa McCormick received 157,263 votes
For the Republican party:
Bob Hugin received 167,000 votes
Brian Goldberg received 55,229 votes
The November Elections will be between Senator Menendez and Mr. Hugin
For United State House of Representative for New Jersey's 5th District one two year term
For the Republican party:
John McCann received 15,924 votes
Steve Lonegan received 14,152 votes
Bergen County Executive one four year termJohn McCann received 15,924 votes

For the Democratic party:
Incumbent Congressman Josh Gottheimer ran unopposed
The November Elections will be between Congressman Gottheimer and Mr. McCann
- For the Republican party :
Norman Schmelz received 10,371 votes
Paul Duggan received 10,185 votes
- For the Democratic party:
Incumbent James Tedesco ran unopposed
The November Elections will be between Executive Tedesco and Mr. Schmelz
Bergen County Freeholder two three year terms
- For the Republican party :
Eric Kulmala received 10,992 votes
Hector Olmo received 10,725 votes
Kevin Parany received 9,522 votes
Edward Mazlish received 8,835 votes
- For the Democratic party:
Incumbents Steven Tanelli and Tracy Zur ran unopposed
The November Elections will be between Freeholder Zur , Freeholder Tanelli, Mr Kulmala, and Mr. Olmo
Bogota Borough Council two three year terms.
Both parties candidates ran unopposed. The November Elections will be between;
- For the Democratic party: Consuelo Carpenter and Robert Robbins
- For the Republican party : Incumbent Councilwoman Daniele Fede and Rebecca Youla
County Committee one male and one female
Both parties candidates ran unopposed.
- For the Democratic party: Robert Ferro and Michelle Rupar
- For the Republican party : Niall O'Hagan and Daniele Fede
