On or about Monday-21-May the New York Susquehanna & Western Railway (NYSW) will replace the current crossing at W. Ft. Lee rd. This work is scheduled to last for five days causing W. Ft. Lee rd from River rd in Bogota to the west side of the crossing to be closed. W. Ft. Lee from the Hackensack River to the Jesco building will remain open from the Hackensack approach. With the William Ryan Bridge is now open the work on this crossing can begin. NYSW plan is to remove the asphalt from between the rails and from both sides of the track. The space between the rail and from 6" on both side of the rail will be replaced with concrete. From the concrete edging to the existing roadway will be re-paved in asphalt. There will be no work done to the crossing gates and signal. W. Ft. Lee rd is schedule be closed from 7:00a to 6:00p each construction day as need. Please plan for additional time with the use of alternate routes.
