On Tuesday-17-April both the Lady Bucs Softball team and the Men's Baseball Bucs played at Palisades Park to make-up the Monday games postponed due to the weather. The Lady Bucs beat the Lady Tigers 13-1. After a scoreless first inning Bogota was able to score 6 runs in the second inning. They would then score 5 runs in the third, and 2 in the fourth. Palisades Park would break the shut-out with a single run in the bottom of the fourth inning. Madison Heck and Sophia Marquez would hit Home Runs for Bogota. Ms. Heck would also have a game high with 3 Runs Batted in. Jayleen Arce, Anna Granquist, and Alyssa Vazquez would each record a double. Ms. Marquez would lead both teams with 3 Stolen Bases.
In the Men's game Palisades Park would jump out to a 3-0 lead after the first two innings. The team would then trade runs and the Tigers would have a 4-1 lead after three. In the top of the fourth Bogota would have 6 players cross the plate and grab a lead they would not give up. The Home scored in their have of the inning and the game would go into the seventh with the Bucs leading 7-5. Bogota would 4 more runs in the seventh, and Palisades Park could only respond with 3 more runs. This would give Bogota an 11-8 victory. Argenis Soriano would hit the only Home run of the game , and would accounts for a game high of 4 Runs Batted in. Mr Soriano would have 3 Stolen Bases in the game. Daniel Sanchez would have 6 Strikes out in earning the win.
On Wednesday both Bogota teams would play Cresskill. The Men's game would be move to Cresskill due to the conditions of Fiegel Field. Bogota would score the first run of the game, which held until Cresskill took the lead with a 3 Run third inning. The Bucs were able to tie game at 3 in the seventh inning. The Cougars were about to push one across in the first extra inning and get a 4-3 win. Jose Marte and Tim Barcon each had 1 RBI. Their record is now 3-5. They next play on Friday-20-April at Waldwick, the first pitch is scheduled for 4:00p
The Lady Bucs would host the Lady Cougars in Olsen Park. Cresskill's Christina Chatrnuck would start the game off with the first of her two Doubles for the Afternoon. Madison Heck would then strike out the side after that. In the bottom half of the inning Alyssa Vazquez would lead off and get Bogota's first run after stealing 2 of her game high 3 Stolen Bases She would score on a sacrifice bunt by Jayleen Arce. Bogota would then score 4 Runs in the second inning on the way to a 10-0 win. Madison Heck would pitch a 12 Strike-out Shut-out. Nylene Mateo, and Julie Corniel would hit doubles for Bogota with both, along, Alyssa Vazquez with recording 2 Runs Batted In. The lady Bucs record is now 6-2. They next play on Friday-20-April at Waldwick, the first pitch is scheduled for 4:00p
