Starting on Thursday-16 March the Lt William Ryan Bridge will be closed for replacement. Construction is schedule continue until March or possible April.

Starting on Monday-26- February the main parking lot and front entrance to Bogota High School will be closed. This is due to the reconstruction of the Parking lot. Work is scheduled to continue until First week of September-2018. All access to the High School will be through the side door on the North side of the building.

The Bogota Police Dept has issued a traffic alert for Thursday-16-November. The Suez water company will be working on the main water line under the street. Work is schedule to continue until late January -2018. This will occur on W. Main St. between Larch and Elm Aves. This is scheduled to start at 7:00a and run to 4:00p. All parking on W.Main will be suspend during this time. Traffic in both directions may be detoured during this project, please plan alternate routes. Business parking will be permitted on both Larch and Elm Aves and may cause additional congestion on those streets.

The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. The Bogota Public Library will host it's fourth annual Makers Day event. This years theme will be based on the upcoming film " A Wrinkle in Time" Some of the activities station that will allow Students to create their own Cloud Dough and Time Traveling Rocket. This will be about of the New Jersey Makers Day which will include other Libraries and Museums within the State. Makers Day is designed to be a statewide event that celebrates, promotes, and in many cases may introduce maker culture, as well as the values associated with making, tinkering and STEM-based learning. The Bogota makers Day will start at 10:00a and run to 1:00p. It is open to Students of all ages. It is asked that anyone under 10 years old be accompany by a Parent, or other Adult.
This is a free event, but anyone wishing to take part must register in advance.
