On Thursday-27-March the Bogota Borough Planning Board held their second meeting for the month of March. Two major items were pasted, one was to memorialize the resolution of the hiring of Boswell Engineering as the Planning Board's Engineer. The other was the adoption of a resolution that conforms the Borough is in compliance with the Fair Share Housing plan required by the State of New Jersey. Borough Planner Paul Gygiel said that with the 20 units of Senior Housing, 4 Group Housing, the 42 units planned in the River Club development, and a number of other units in Bogota is would meet the required number of unit. He added that some units need to be upgraded to be included. One more point Mr Gygiel made that from now until 2025, and any project with 5 or more units must set aside 20% of those unit for Fair Housing.
The next Planing Board meeting will be on Tuesday 10-April at 7:30p This will be held in the Council Chamber located on the second floor of 375 Larch Ave Bogota, NJ. The public is invited to attend.
