Tuesday-27-March the Bogota Public Library held a workshop on how make heather meals with soups. This was presented by Shoprite nutritionist Erika Lannaman from the Hackensack location. Ms. Lannaman showed those in attendance a step by step process of making a home made soup. This evening recipe was for a lemongrass and butternut squash soup. This was chosen for it simplicity using basic ingredients that will still yield a satisfying meal. This soup was a vegetarian recipe but could be adapted for anyone who wishes to add a meal product. Ms. Lannaman also talked about these same techniques can be used for other recipes she passed out. While the soup was being cooked Ms. Lannaman was able to answer any question that the audience had. Then everyone watching, and some others in the Library, were able to sample the creation for themselves.
