Starting on Thursday-16 March the Lt William Ryan Bridge will be closed for replacement. Construction is schedule continue until February or March.

The Bogota Police Dept has issued a traffic alert for Thursday-16-November. The Suez water company will be working on the main water line under the street. Work is schedule to continue until late January -2018. This will occur on W. Main St. between Larch and Elm Aves. This is scheduled to start at 7:00a and run to 4:00p. All parking on W.Main will be suspend during this time. Traffic in both directions may be detoured during this project, please plan alternate routes. Business parking will be permitted on both Larch and Elm Aves and may cause additional congestion on those streets.

The library is again working with AARP this year to provided assistance in tax preparation. This will be available on Thursday and Fridays from now until Saturday 15- April. This is targeted to anyone over the age of 60 who could also be collecting Social Security .

Bogota Beautiful and the Bogota Public Library has announced more details of their 3rd annual Community Pot Luck dinner. This will take place on Saturday-17-February.

This will run from 4:00p to 6:00p and take place in the second floor Senior Center located at 375 Larch Ave Bogota, NJ. Library coordinator Tom Skrnich was confirmed that five entertainers have agreed to preform during the evening. Those scheduled are Councilman David McFarland, Jim Musto, Erin and John Wohlberg, Steve Kelerman and members of the Bogart Choir. Admission is a dish to be shared with others in attendance.
It is asked that anyone wishing to attend must donate a dish representing one's cultural background. There will also be a collection of food item for the St. Joseph's Food Bank. These should non-perishable canned , or boxed goods. They are also looking for volunteers to aid with set-up, serving, and cleaning. Any High School Student will earn Community Service credit for this event. All Volunteers are asked to arrive at 1:00p . Food items will be accepted from 2:30-3:30p with the dinner starting at 4:00p.
Anyone attending must register at: Bogota Beautiful/Bogota Public Library Pot Luck Dinner, and list what item they will be bring. Dishes needed are Appetizers, Main Course, Side Course, and Desserts. The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will be holding a All you can eat Breakfast. This will start at 8:30a and go until 12:00 noon Prices are $10 for Adults and $5 for student 12 and under. The Breakfast will feature an Omelette station, Pancakes, Bacon,Sausage, French toast, & scrambled eggs. There will also be pastries, cereal along with Coffee, Tea, Milk & Juice. It is asked to bring some Non-perishable food items for the Local Food Pantry.
The Elks lodge is located at the Corner of Spruce & Cedar Sts. Ridgefield Park, NJ

Men's Basketball vs Waldwick on the Jay Mahoney Court at Speary Gym 7:00p. This will be preceded by the freshman game at 4:00p the JV game at 5:30p
