On Tuesday-20-February the Bogota Lady Bucs hosted the Lady Gaels from St. Mary's of Rutherford, NJ This was held on the Jay Mahoney Court at Speary Gym. Bogota took a 18-10 lead after the first quater, and held St. Mary to a single basket in the second to have a 30-12 advantage into the locker room. Bogota went on to win the game by a score of 57-25. Leila Ksiyer lead all scores with 22 Points and 4 Three point Baskets. Amanda Schlosser had 3 Three point Baskets , and Qwyneth Trujillo added one also from beyond the arc. They now have a record of 4-15. They next travel to Belleville on Friday-23-February with a scheduled tip off of 4:00p.
The Men's Basketball Bucs traveled to Hasbrouck Heights to play the Aviators. The first eight minutes was evenly played with Bogota able to work out a one point lead. The Bucs started to control more of the scoring and had a 37-32 lead by halftime.After the restart Bogota continue to pull ahead and ending up with a 76-58 win. Argenis Soriano had a game high with 20 Points. Mr. Soriano and Tim Uzor would both have team highs of 3 Three Point Baskets. Deiker Padrino would add another two. With his scoring of 18 Points in this game Mr. Uzor would finish with 802 total points, and 120 Three point baskets. Bogota's record is now 18-4. They next play on Thursday-22- February against Patterson Charter School on the Jay Mahoney Court at Speary Gym with a tip off scheduled for 7:00p.
#2 Bogota will play #15 Wood-Ridge in the 2018 NJSIAA North 1, Group 1 Tournament, on Monday -26-February. This will take place place on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym. The tip-off time is scheduled for 7:00p.
