The Bogota Police Dept has issued a traffic alert for Thursday-16-November. The Suez water company will be working on the main water line under the street. Work is schedule to continue until late January -2018. This will occur on W. Main St. between Larch and Elm Aves. This is scheduled to start at 7:00a and run to 4:00p. All parking on W.Main will be suspend during this time. Traffic in both directions may be detoured during this project, please plan alternate routes. Business parking will be permitted on both Larch and Elm Aves and may cause additional congestion on those streets.

The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Sine Dine this is schedule to start at 7:30p. It will take place in the Senior Center located on the second floor at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. This will be the swearing in ceremony for the Council Members elected during the November Elections of 2017. Other official appointment will occur at this meeting, This meeting is open to the public.

American Championship Wrestling returns to the Bogota VFW post # 5561. This will feature their " Redemption in Bogota" event. Tickets are price at $20.00 per person in advance and $25.00 at the door. There is a special package for $30.00 per person which will include ring side seating and a pre-opening meet & greet at 6:00p.
Opening bell is schedule for 7:30p. This will be held in the main hall located at 240 Leonia Ave Bogota, NJ. The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office.
