On Saturday-6-January the Borough of Bogota hosted an dinner honoring the Women and Men who serve as first aid responders for the Citizens of Bogota. This was held at the Fiesta hall in Hasbrouck Heights. This was a chance to thanked the all Volunteers of the Bogota Fire Dept. The Bogota Rescue Squad and the Bogota Auxiliary Police Dept. To start evening festivities Bogota Mayor Chris Kelemen spoke of the the work and sacrifices the Volunteers experience as part of the job they have chosen to do. He then offering thanks and appreciation for all the work these volunteer through the years, and decades to improve the quality of life in and around the Borough.
After dinner the members of first the Auxiliary Police Dept. were sworn into offices. This was followed by the Rescue Squad and then the Officers for the four Companies that make up the Bogota Fire Dept. This was then the time for all the attendees to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening accompanied by the music proved by DJ Eddie Acosta
