   Results for Bogota Varsity sports from Wednesday-16-January
   The Bogota Bowling Bucs lost to Hawthorne Christian Academy 0-7. Their next match is on Thursday-18 January against Bergen Arts & Science. This will take place at the Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park, NJ. It is scheduled to start at 4:00p

   The Bogota Lady Bucs Basketball team traveled to Cresskill to play the Lady Cougars.  Bogota was shut-out in 2 of the four quarters suffering  at 14-51 loss. Qwyneth Trujilo led the team with 4 Points, ans Amanda Schlosser recorded the only Three Point basket for Bogota. They now have a record of 0-9. They next play on Thursday-18-January against Waldwick. This will be held on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym. The scheduled tip off time is 4:00p

   The Men's Basketball Bucs hosted Cresskill at Speary Gym. Bogota would score the first 4 Points of the game. Then the Cougars would the next ten to take the lead for the rest of the game. Bogota shooting would not find its mark for most of the first half. This allowed Cresskill to score on most of the counter attacks.  Cresskill would finish the quarter ahead 14-8, and go into the locker room with a 25-18 advantage.  The contest would stay intense as the game moved along with both teams players confront  each other.  It was a physical game between the two top divisional club which neither wanting to back down from.  The bigger Cougar players force the Bucs to shoot from the outside, and controlled the pace of the game. Late in the fourth quater both coaches replaced their full line-ups to to give their starters a much earned rest.   Cresskill's Wellington Ventura  had a game high of 25 Points with Dieker Padrino scoring 20 Points for Bogota. The Bucs' Argenis Soriano  and the Cougar's Luka Radovich each recorded two Three Point Baskets. Bogota's record is now 8-2. They next play on Thursday-18-January at Waldwick.
