   Results from Bogota Varsity Sports on Saturday-6-January.  
   The Bogota / Weehawken wresting squad competed in a Tri-meet at Lenape Valley High School. Bogota / Weehawken scored at 45-27 win over the host team.  They won 5 of the seven bouts competed. Danny Gonzalez at 132 lbs, Kevin Rodriguez at 152 lbs, Michael Fitzgerald at 170 lbs and Simon Cardona at 285 lbs all recorded pin falls.
  Their second match of the morning was against Union City High School. Bogota / Weehawken won by a score of 45-30.   Bogota / Weehawken  would win 3 of the 7 bouts with  competed Brandon Gonzalez at 138 lbs, Kevin Rodriguez at 152 lbs, and Tyler Williams all recording Pin Falls. Their record is now 5-3. They next will face Hasbrouck Heights on Wednesday-10-January. This will take place in Speary Gym with the first bout schedule for 7:00p

  The Men's Basketball Bucs traveled to Secaucus for an afternoon game against the Patriots. The two teams were tied at 12 points following the first quater.  Bogota was able to push ahead and take a 32-28 lead into halftime. Secaucus drew within two points after three-quater time, but the Bucs were able to hang on for a 59-56 win. Deiker Padrino had a game high with 20 Points. Argenis Soriano lead all scores with 5 Three Point baskets.  Bogota's record is now  6-1. They next play on Tuesday-9-January at Emerson. This is scheduled to have a 7:00p tip-off.
