On Wednesday-20-December the Bogota/Weehawken Wrestling squads traveled to New Milford. Bogota/Weehawken won 41-40 Danny Gonzalez at 132 lbs, scores a Technical Fall. Brandon Gonzalez at 138 lbs, Kevin Rodriguez at 152 lbs, and Tyler Williams at 182 lbs all recorded Pin Falls. Bogota/Weehawken's record is now 2-0. Their next match is on Friday-22-December at Elmwood Park with the first bout scheduled to start at 5:00p
The Bogota Lady Bucs Basketball team played their home opener against Midland Park. Bogota lost 11-56. Leila Ksiyer led Bogtoa with 4 Points and Gwyneth Trujillo had one Three Point Basket. Their record is now 0-3. They next play Tuesday-16-January-2018 at Cresskill. This is scheduled to have a 4:00p tipoff.
The Men's Basketball Bucs travel to Midland Park to play the Panthers.Bogota held a one point lead, 10-9 after the First Quarter. In the second eight minutes the Bucs outscored their opponents by 19 point to take a 34-14 advantage into half time. The Bucs kept the pressure on Midland Park to push the lead to 57-27 at the three quarter time mark on the way to a 70-44 win. Bogota is now 3-0. Deiker Padrino had a game high of 19 Points. Argenis Soriano had 3 Three Point baskets with Dequan Johnson adding 2 more and Melvin Bahon also scoring a Three Pointer. The Bucs will next play on Tuesday-26 December in the Garfield Tournament against Harrison. This will take place at Garfield High School and start at 6:00p
