Middle School Volleyball

   On Thursday-26-October the 17th Bogtoa Middle School Women's Volleyball Tournament took place  in the Moore Gym at Steen School and in Speary Gym of Bogota High School. The final match was between the River Dell Lady Hawks and the Bogota Lady Bucs. River Dell scored the first four points of the opening set. Bogota then came back to tie the set at 4 and then 5 apiece. Bogota would then go on a 10-3 run to pace themselves to a first set win.
 In the second set it was the Lady Bucs to take the first lead, and have the Lady Hawks come back to tie the set at 6 then again at 7. Through the first have of this set both teams would take small leads, and the opposition would  equal the score and retake the lead.  Bogota would finally take control on their to winning the set and match 2-0 (25-17: 25-14). This is the 12th Championship title for the Lady Bucs in the 17 year old Tournament.
