On Thursday-19-October the Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team traveled to West Morris Central to take on the Lady Wolfpack. The first set was a close game with Bogota producing a two point win. In the second set the Lady Bucs took advantage of the momentum from earlier to win the match 2-0 (25-23 : 25-14) Anna Granquist had match highs with 12 Service Points including 4 Aces. Bogota's front line combined for 26 Kills. Julianne Corniel, Jaelyn Grullon, and Nylene Mateo scored 6 Kills each, while Leila Ksiyer and Brianna Lozano both had 4 Kills. Ms. Grullon, and Ms. Ksiyer both had 4 Blocks. Alyssa Vazquez had 16 assists, and Lisbeth Suarez had 14 Digs. Bogota's record is now 19-1. They next play on Friday-20-October at home in Speary Gym against Cresskill. This will have a start time of 7:00p
#8 Bogota will next play #9 Ridgewood in the second round of the Bergen County Volleyball Tournament. This will take place on Saturday-21-October at Northern Valley Old Tappan. First serve is scheduled for 3:30p and be held in the South Gym.
On Monday-23-October Bogota will host the Semi-final round of the North Jersey Interscholastic Conference girls volleyball tournaments. This will take place in Speary with the first match starting at 6:00p
