On Wednesday-18-October the Bogota Soccer Bucs traveled to Palisades Park. The two teams played to a 2-2 including 2 halves of extra time. he Bucs got goals from Jhonan Garcia and Sebastian Cabrera to earn their first point of the season. Bogota's record is now 0-14-1. They next play on Friday-20-October at Cresskill. The kick-off is scheduled for 4:00p.
The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team played the Lady Tigers from Palisades Park at home in Speary Gym. After winning a side out from Palisades Park at the start of the first set Anna Granquist would then serve for the next 10 Points for Bogota. The Lady Bucs would go on to win the match 2-0 (25-6 : 25-5) Ms. Granquist would finish with 14 Service Points including 8 Aces. Leila Ksiyer would have a match high of 6 Kills. She along with Jaelyn Grullon would each have 2 Blocks. Alyssa Vazquez would record 12 Assist. Ms. Granquist, Alexi Siri, and Lisbeth Suarez will have 4 Digs apiece. Their record is now 18-1. They next play at West Morris Central on Thursday-19 October. The first serve is scheduled for 6:00p.
#8 Bogota will next play #9 Ridgewood in the second round of the Bergen County Volleyball Tournament. This will take place on Saturday-21-October at Northern Valley Old Tappan. First serve is scheduled for 3:30p and be held in the South Gym.
On Monday-23-October Bogota will host the Semi-final round of the North Jersey Interscholastic Conference girls volleyball tournaments. This will take place in Speary with the first match starting at 6:00p
