On Monday 16-October the Bogota Soccer Bucs hosted Emerson in Olsen Park. Bogota gave up 5 Goals in the first half, and another three in the second half suffering an 0-8 loss. Bogota's record is now 0-14. They next play on Wednesday-18-October at Palisades Park. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00p
The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team traveled to Emerson and came back with a 2-0 (25-8 : 25-10) win. Bogota was again led by strong serving from Anna Granquist with 14 Service Points including 6 Aces. Alyssa Vazquez continued setting up the Lady Bucs front court with 20 Assist. The Committee took full advantage of Ms. Vazquez work with Leila Ksiyer and Briana Lozano finishing with 8 Kills each. Jaelyn Grullon and Nylene Mateo each had 6 Kills and Julianna Cornie with 2. Ms. Ksiyer , Ms. Grullon and Ms. Lozano also contributed 2 Block apiece. Alexi Siri recorded 10 Digs. Bogota's record is now 17-1, They next play on Wednesday -18-October at home against Palisades Park. This will take place in Speary Gym and will have a first serve scheduled at 4:00p.
#8 Bogota will next play #9 Ridgewood in the second round of the Bergen County Volleyball Tournament. This will take place on Saturday-21-October at Northern Valley Old Tappan. First serve is scheduled for 3:30p and be held in the South Gym.
On Monday-23-October Bogota will host the Semi-final round of the North Jersey Interscholastic Conference girls volleyball tournaments. This will take place in Speary with the first match starting at 6:00p
