The Bogota Public Library will be having another Open Mic Night This is open to anyone who wishes show off their talent to others. Performances musical, singing and instrumental, Poetry, or short story telling. It is asked to please refrain from doing stand-up comedy. This is open to anyone, regardless of age,and are welcome to sign up. It will start at 7:00p and be held in the Teen Corner on the first floor of the Library, This is a free event, but anyone wishing to participate is asked to schedule a time slot. The Bogota Girl Scouts will be holding a recruitment event at the Bogota Public Library. This will start at 11:00a and run until 1:00p, and be held in the second Floor Senior's Centre. This is open for any girl from Kindergarten to 12th Grade would be interested in one of the Bogota Troops. There is also an opportunity for any Parent would be interested in becoming a Volunteer Troop Leader. For more information please contact Carole Diehl at 201-562-3472

Bogota
The Bogota Emergency Departments will hold their next Emergency Services Night. This will be a chance to see the equipment used by the first responders who are based in Bogota. Members of the Bogota Fire Department, Heavy Rescue Squad and the Auxiliary Police Department will be on hand to show how they respond to emergency situation, how their equipment works, and answer questions about their duties. They will also able at sign-up anyone who wishes to become a Volunteer with one , or more, of the departments.
This will take place in Olsen Park from 6:00p to 9:00p.

The New Jersey Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association will be holding a walk-a-thon Overpeck Park. This event is to raise awareness and assist in funding for Alzheimer's care, support and research. Ridgefield Park , NJ
The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will be holding a Late fall Beach Party . This will start at 7:00p and go until 11:30p Prices are $40 for Adults per person and will include dinner, open bar, frozen drinks and music.
