The Bogota Public Library will host Kids Craft a workshop and make something to coincide with the "Build a Better World" theme. It will held in the second floor Senior Centre and start at 11:00a and is a free event. This event will have stations for Toddlers, Students in 1-3 grades and 6-8 grades. The Bogota Swim Club will host its annual Camp-out. This is an opportunity for Families to spend the night out and sleep under the stars. There will be swimming until midnight along with movies, games, and water slide. Free S'Mores will be available at midnight. This is open to all Members and to non-members of the Bogota Swim Club. Advanced registration is $7.00 for members & $10.00 for non-members. At the door is $10.00 & $15.00 respectfully. Tents set-up begins at 7:30p Lights out at 12:30a. The snack bar will be open, but campers may bring their own food. It is asked that no glass containers be used.

The final event of this seasons Main St. Live Concert Series will take place in the Atlantic St. Park in Hackensack. This will be a LGBTQ pride concertand is schedule to begin at 7:00p This is a free event with limited seating , it is advised to bring a blanket, or folding chairs.

There will be bonus session of Bogota Beautiful's Yoga in the Park classes. The added classes, by popular demand, and will be held today. These continue for the next several Saturdays in August. Classes will be one hour and will take place each in Olsen Park and start at 9:00a. Classes will be led by Professional Yoga instructor Denise Mercado. These classes are open to anyone regardless of age, or experience. The classes will meet at the Bandshell in Olsen Park depending on the number of attendees classes may be held in the bandshell or on the lawn in front of the bandshell. Everyone you wishes to attend is required to provide their own mat, towels, and water. Comfortable clothing that will allowed free and ease of movement should be worn. This is free to the public, however it is asked to contact Bogota Beautiful at there website: bogotabeautiful.com to make a reservation for as many dates as you wish. The Elks Lodge #1506 in Ridgefield Park will be holding a Pasta Dinner and Raffle night. This will held on the upper fllor of the Elks Hall located at the corner of Spruce and Cedar Sts. Doors will open at 5:30p and dinner will be served at 6:30p Tickets are priced at $25.00 per person and will include dinner, desserts, and one sheet of small prize ticket. The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. The City of Hackensack will have its next session of the Sunset Zumba series at the Atlantic St. Park. This is schedule to start at 7:30p, and is free to the public. Is this open to anyone wishing to practice, or learn about the benefits of Zumba Dance, regardless of skill level. Everyone you wishes to attend is required to provide their own, towels, and water. Comfortable clothing that will allowed free and ease of movement should be worn.
