On Saturday-17-June the Bogota Public Library kicked off their Summer Reading program " Build a Better World". The opening event was held in the Second floor Seniors Centre where Students had a chance to cut out and colour their own tools and tool belts. Make rolled paint art using different materials to tecture their creation. Along with a chance to plant flower seeds to take home.
There was also a special guest, local author Diana Lee Santamaria who read some of her children's books Ms. Santamaria read stories of her "DLee's World" series to the Students about a young girl starts her adventure of going to school her first day of school, and other ways of learning in everyday life.
